For example, if you own a website that sells fishing products, a free blog where you write regular articles about fishing can help you get traffic. WordPress blogs like this one get indexed regularly by search engines like Google. While your blog readers are reading your latest blog entry, maybe they’ll click on a link to your fishing website, and just maybe you’ll convert a few sales! Not bad for taking 20 minutes to write a blog entry every now and then!

If you own a used cell phone site and the keywords “buy used cell phones” gets several thousand searches each month, try to get the domain name buyusedcellphones.com! (this is just an example, I’m SURE that this one is taken!) It has a great chance of getting indexed near the top of that search term on Google and that will provide INVALUABLE free traffic!
